We’re thrilled to announce that Build Buddy is now available in some areas across Victoria. This expansion means that even more future home owners can take advantage of our platform’s unique features, from planning and managing home builds to accessing our network of trusted contractors and suppliers. 

Enhancements to the Dashboard

We've made a key update to the Build Buddy Dashboard. The "STAND BY" and "COMPLETED" tabs have been removed, and in their place, we've introduced the "PAYMENT REQUESTS" tab. This change is designed to help you focus more easily on what requires your attention, streamlining your workflow and ensuring that important tasks don't get overlooked. So the next time you're in the app, make sure to have a look at the changes to your dashboard tabs.

Improvements to Area Selections

App: Build Buddy Pro

We've enhanced the onboarding process and profile settings for Build Buddy Pros. Now, when setting up your service areas, you can search and select specific regions you service. Plus, you can add service areas across different states, giving you more flexibility and precision in defining where you service.

New Filters & Notifications: My Service Area

App: Build Buddy Pro

We've made it easier for you to find the right jobs by tailoring them to your specific service area. This means less time spent sorting through listings and more opportunities to submit quotes.

• 📍 New filter for jobs called "My Service Area".
• 🔔 Receive quote notifications for jobs that only match your service areas.

Enhancements from user feedback

Thank you to all our users who have recently submitted valuable feedback. We have listened, and made some improvements to our platform based on what you have said. In a continued effort to make Build Buddy the most supportive residential building platform, we worked on a number of enhancements and fixes for this release - here is a quick rundown.

Build Buddy users:

• 👥  Fixed issue that disabled users from booking a design stage checkpoint meeting.

Build Buddy Pro users:

• 🗺️ When adding a new user to your account, they can now skip the region selection part of their account set up.
• 🛠️ Fixed bug when a scope of works has been updated by the owner, the title "Owner has amended the Scope of Works" wasn't showing.

3. A feedback form page will show. Fill in the fields as required and provide your feedback.
