What made you choose Build Buddy over a traditional building company?

Yes, it is about the cost savings, but for us, it wasn't just about that. What sets Build Buddy apart is the customer service. It was about having that reassurance that the trades that are on the platform are quality trades.

It’s not that the tradies just go on site, do their work and leave. They want to engage with us, ask questions, and they’re happy to go through the work and discuss things.

We’ve had three or four trades now on the platform working on our house and they’ve all been great. You have your mum-and-dad builders who are building a house, going on-site, asking questions, and changing this or that - it’s good to see that the trades you’ve selected through Build Buddy are accommodating of that. 

How has Build Buddy taken the stress out of your build?

If we didn’t have the support of Build Buddy, we probably would have thrown in the towel a while ago to be honest with you. It's just that some of it can be so overwhelming - dealing with the council, getting the right paperwork... it's such a mission. It was really great that we had Build Buddy there, supporting us to do that and to give us what we needed so that we could get through those stages.
